Jumpstart Your Recovery

"Jumpstart Your Recovery" is a comprehensive and empowering program designed to assist individuals in their journey to overcome sexual addiction. Over the course of 12 days, participants will gain a deeper understanding of their addiction, learn practical strategies for recovery, and foster personal growth. This program is tailored to address the behavioral and emotional aspects of addiction, incorporating both secular and spiritual approaches to healing.

Being a self-guided program, you have the flexibility to complete it at your own pace, whether that is over the course of 12 days, 12 weeks, or 12 hours. Ultimately it is up to you to decide whatever time frame you feel is best for you. Having said that, it is designed to complete one section per day for 12 consecutive days. To get the most out of this experience, I recommend taking no less than 6 days and no more than 6 weeks to complete the course. Whatever you do, please do not breeze through it, skim the contents, skip sections, jump ahead or go out of order. Follow the order of the roadmap provided from start to finish your first time through. Be thorough and careful to understand all concepts and complete all exercises and assignments. Once you've gone through the first time, feel free to start over and review the contents in any order as many times as desired or needed.

• Day 1: You will acknowledge your problem, prepare to continue the program, and understand the importance of not giving up.
• Day 2: You will begin using a checklist for daily actions and will be advised to explore 12 Step groups. Homework will include more assessments and checklist use.
• Day 3: You will learn about habitual behaviors, neural pathways, and a practical exercise using a rubber band to interrupt lustful thoughts.
• Day 4: Prayer will be introduced as a source of strength, gratitude, and accountability, regardless of your religious beliefs. You will start a prayer routine.
• Day 5: The significance of daily reading will be stressed, along with finding reliable recovery literature. Homework will focus on setting a reading goal.
• Day 6: Making daily phone calls to accountability partners to break isolation and build support networks will become a key practice.
• Day 7: You will discover the power of meetings in addiction recovery and introduce yourself as an "addict" to build camaraderie.
• Day 8: Emotional intelligence and relationship-building exercises will strengthen connections with daily feelings and compliments.
• Day 9: Conscious living and self-awareness practices will allow you to be more intentional in your actions.
• Day 10: You will focus on recognizing early signs of addictive behavior and addressing discomfort proactively.
• Day 11: Relapse will be reframed as a learning opportunity, not a failure, with a commitment to evaluation and improvement.
• Day 12: The program will conclude with a reminder of the ongoing recovery journey, equipped with the tools for success.

After the 12 days are over, you'll still have homework to do everyday for 3 months to ensure you're well on your way to effective and lasting recovery from sexual addiction.

The value of this program is at least equal to 12 individual coaching sessions because it includes everything that I typically cover in my first 12 sessions with new clients.
